I have no idea what other people are writing about or if I am supposed to be writing about something with science fiction, so I guess I'll write about aliens. I always wondered if they actually do exist or not. I mean there have been a lot of sightings apparently and people have said that they have been abducted, but there is really no evidence to prove if what they saw or what they have claimed to have experienced is actually true. And what about Area 51? There have been rumors that Area 51 is the place where experiments are being conducted on extraterrestrials. Could our own government be hiding secrets from us? Or are we just allowing ourselves to falsely believe the idea of aliens existing? I really have no idea if there is or isn't any other lifeforms in space. I think that it is kind of ridiculous that there wouldn't be some other form of life in space, but do the lifeforms look like the aliens we see on t.v. and in movies? Maybe they are just little organic particles. Are there really other forms of life in space or are we just imagining there are?

I agree with you, I would be surprised if there was not other lifeforms in the universe. Of all the galaxies, planets etc. why would we be the only planet with life on it? But i always wondered: why do scientists always refer to aliens as being intelligent beings? and why do we assume they exist right now? They always say that extraterrestrials have technology far beyond ours. What if they are the equivalent of our prehistoric cavemen? That would explain why we haven't detected them yet, because they have no technology that we would receive signals from. Also, what if there was life on other planets, but they all died out? Maybe each planet has its own time? When/if all life on Earth dies out, maybe a new lifeform will appear on a distant planet and begin a new civilization that will flourish and die just as our has....? who really knows? Those are just a couple thoughts...
