The show
The show that I went to on Friday was amazing. We left Cortland at around 1:45pm, right after we had finished classes and finished eating. Since one of my friends here couldn't go, I invited my friend Conor from Binghamton to attend the event. After we had picked him up from Binghamton, we were on our way to the show. It took us about three hours to get from Binghamtom down to Poughkeepsie, where the show was being held. The time went by fast though because we listened to all of the bands we were going to see. We got to Jill's house at around 5:25pm, and the show was starting at 5:30pm. We quickly made ourselves a sandwhich and headed out to the show. We got there just in time to see one of my bands I was looking most forward to. The show was such a fun time. The Chance, the place that was holding the show, was really packed. When we listened to the bands we stood in the pit, and watched as kids around us went into the mosh pits. There were two different bands playing at the same time, one in the main stage, and one upstairs in the loft. It was also a good time because after the bands played, they would walk around the place so people could talk to them. I talked to a few band members and just asked them how it was to be touring and let them know what I thought about their music, things like that. The show lasted from 5:30pm to 12:30pm. When I got back to Jill's house I was pretty tired from standing the whole night. It felt good to lay down, but it took me awhile to fall asleep. We woke up at 10:00am, ate breakfast, and headed back to Cortland. Overall, it was an awesome time.

Brothers Wedding
On september 17th, just a few weeks after we get back to college, I get to go home because my older brother is getting married. It is going to be held close to my home and i am so excited. This wedding is going to be amazing i cant wait until the day comes. It's going to be amazing because everyone is going to be intoxicated like my dad and my brothers and sister as well as my aunts and uncles and cousins. I will also be unable to function properly that night. Another good thing about the wedding is that i am going to see my brother who lives in hawaii. He went to hawaii because he got sent there while he was in the marines. After he got out, he got a girlfriend and decided that he wanted to live out there. Since i dont get to see him very much it will be awesome to get to party with him at my brothers wedding. I think me, my brother, and my 2 cousins are planning on getting a hotel room for the night because neither of us are going to want to drive home that night and it might be unsafe too. I feel like my experience at this wedding is going to be one of the greatest times of my life and i cannot wait until september 17th.
Road trip
I have a lot of expectations for this summer. Sometime in june or july, my friends and i want to go on a road trip. We aren't quite sure where we want to go however. We were thinking about going somewhere where there is a beach, such as viginia beach, florida, or maybe even somewhere closer such as jersey shore. We were also thinking of possibly going to Canada mainly because the 18 is the golden age. The people that would most likely go would be myself, my brother tyler, justin, mike, cody, kris, conor, robbie and maybe my friend who goes to ithaca, rob hulbert. We would most likely leave on a wednesday or thursday and come back on a sunday. That way, we will only miss a couple days of work, rather than a whole week. I have a motor home that i would ask my dad to take, but he probably wouldnt let me take it and even if he did, the gas would be crazy. We would most likely take a couple cars down, or up. If we go to Canada we will probably end up partying every night at the clubs and bars, but if we go to jersey shore or somewhere down south, well we would still probably party every night. But we would also go to the beach every day and go to an amusement park or something fun like that. Since 11th grade my friends and i have been saying that we wanted to go on a road trip, but we never did. This year is the year that we are going to do it.
this summer
So this summer, my friends from college have all agreed that we have to hang out a lot during the summer. The girls have made dates for when we all are going together, which works out for me because i dont have to do much except show up. I know that from june 2nd to june 6th, my best friend from college, Kevin Hiebler, is having a four day house party. It's going to be a sick party because all of my friends from college are going, and they are bringing a few of their friends from home, and im bringing a few of my friends from home. It is going to be such a huge and fun party. We also are planning on hanging out another time in late june, by going down to visit my friend who has to get surgery on both of her feet because she has an extra bone that needs to be taken out. Since she is going to be bored because she wont be able to do much, we are all going to go there and visit her for a couple days or soemthing. Then on july 26th, we are all going to warped tour in Nassau. Warped tour is a concert in which there are tons of punk rock bands that play from sunrise to sunset. It is an awesome time and an awesome experience. The girls also said they are going to come up to my house for my birthday which is on august 8th. It'll be a fun time and we will most likely party all night because i will be partying with my friends from home also. Then, a few weeks later, we will be going back to college.
All-nighter
Yesterday while i was in my CPN class i got a text. When i checked the text it was from my friend Kristin. I read the text and it said "hey how r u feeling about pulling an all nighter." It was really random but i said yea ill do it. After i got back from all of my classes and from a concert i had to go to, the fun began. We started the all nighter at around 10:00pm. By then, everyone was all ready in the lounge so we just hung out there until about 11:00-11:30pm. At that time we realized that we would need some drinks in order to stay awake. A group of us walked down to the mobil store on the corner and picked up some energy drinks for the long night ahead. I decided not to get any mainly because they make you crash hard afterwards. So after we got back to the lounge we drank the drinks, hung out in the lounge, and then decided to go outside and skateboard. Matt, Trey, Dylan and myself all went outside to the neubig hill to go skateboarding. While we were out there a cop drove by and pulled into the parking lot next to corey union. We knew he was just pretending to do soemthing because he got out of his car and went to the neubig dining hall and walked inside. WE thought he was going to stop us and tell we couldn't skateboard there, but he never did. After about 45 minutes to an hour of skateboarding we decided to go back inside and see what everyone else was doing. When we went inside some of them were playing ping pong, so we played that for awhile and then went to take showers. By the time we got out of the showers it was around 4am. We decided to watch a movie in order to separate the men from the boys. We watched benchwarmers because we figured it would be easier to stay up if we were watching a funny movie. Surprisingly, all of us, except for kristin, were able to stay up throguh the movie. At about 6am, when the movie was finished, we sat up talking until 730am. The last 30 minutes, from 7 to 730 was the worst because everyone was just so ready to go to sleep. Once 730 hit, we called it a night and went to sleep. I woke up today at around 330pm and it felt great.

good news
I am excited because i heard some good news. Recently, one of my best friends mike who i have known since kindergarten, was talking about and asking me about cortland. I was quite sure why he was asking me all of the questions so i asked him why he wanted to know. He told me that he was considering transferring from salve regina to cortland. I asked him why and he told me mainly because he wants to do physical therapy, and his school doesn't offer it there. Since i am majoring in kinesiology and then going for physical therapy, i told him that this was an awesome school and that he should definitely check it out. He called me about a week later and told me that he was pretty positive he was going to go either here or to ithaca. Another couple days passed and he called me again. He told me that he had just applied here and that he was waiting for a reply. Shortly after, to both of our surprise, the dean of cortland called mike and told him that he had already been accepted. When he called me and told me the news i was and am still so excited. I hae known him for since we were 5 years old and he has been one of my best friends since then. It's weird too because when we were younger we always said how we were going to go to college together and now it's actually coming true. I am really excited to have him meet all of my friends and soon be a part of the gang.
summer work
So during the school year i was wondering where i was going to work over the summer. I remember my dad telling me that once i turned 18, he might be able to get me a job working with him. So when i went home for winter break i asked him about it. I told him that i was interested and that it would be awesome if he could check. So, after he talked it over he told me that i most likely got the job. When i came back for spring break he told me that i would have to meet the boss and fill out some papers. After I filled out the papers i went and had an interview with louie, the boss. He told me that over the summer i would be doing things such as cutting grass, weed eating, push mowing, and alos work with my dad once in awhile doing some stuff for the town. Because my dad works for the village of catskill, it was easy for him to get me a job mainly because every summer, the town hires college kids to work. Luckily, one guy had quit so my dad jumped on it and got me the job. Although the job will be strenuous, the pay is 15 dollars and change an hour, so i am pretty happy with that. I am supposed to start pretty much once i get back from college, maybe take a few days off first. The hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm, which although is pretty early to be getting up, work also ends early, which means i will still have part of the day left to do things. It is also good because i get both saturday and sunday off, which most kids who work in the summer don't get off. Im excited about the job and i think it will be a good time.
sick
So two weeks ago while my best friend justin and my cousin zach were here, i started to get sick. It wasn't too bad but because i went out both nights, it got worse. By sunday morning when i woke up, i felt terrible. I then decided that i had to go to the doctors. My friend Kristin was also sick so on tuesday morning we got up around 8:00am and went to the doctors. When we got there, there were already 5 kids ahead of us. Luckily it went decently quick and i got in to see the doctor in a short time. When i went in there they checked to see what symptoms i had. I told them i had congestion, sore throat and a cough. I figured it was just a bad cold and luckily it wasnt strept or anything worse. They said that i had sinusitis, which i guess is just bad congestion. They gave me pills to take and i started to take them, but then i stopped because i thought i was better. It has been about two weeks since i first got sick and i do feel alot better, but im still not completely better. I usually go to bed every night with a little cough and when i wake up in the morning i usually feel a little congested. I guess i probably should have taken all of my pills, but it's kind of too late now so i'm sure i will be fine soon.
last week
so last week was pretty crazy as im sure it was for most people--there was so much work i had to do and so little time i had to do it. On sunday i had to study for a musci test that I had which involved music in western society. Since I procrastinate so much I didn't actually start studying until about 10:00am, and I didn't go to sleep until about 2:00am. My class was at 9:10am so I had to get up early. After I got through all of my classes on Monday i procrastinated once again and had to write a 5 page paper for my history class the next day. I waited once again until about 11:00pm to start my essay. I wrote my essay on the Salem Witch Trials and how that event showed the Puritan culture in the 16th century. I finished my essay at around 2:30am, and had to get up at 9:30am in order to run the mile for my activity class. After I got through my classes on tuesday I had to come back and study for another music test in a different class. I started studying around 7:00pm, but I ended up getting distracted and didn't start studying again until 11:00pm. I stayed up until 1:00am, and then up around 7:30am to study a little more before my class. Then, on Wednesday I had to write another essay for my Academic writing class, in which I talked about flying cars and how they are on their way to being mass produced. Overall, the week was pretty tough, but I got lucky that I didn't have more than one thing to do each night.

Sophomore year
Sophomore year sounds like it's going to be a fun time. The main reason it is going to be fun is because my friends and I got a suite in Smith tower. My roommate Dylan, and my friends Hiebler, Scott, Kyle and Matt are all sharing a suite in 4th floor smith. It's going to be an awesome time because we are always going to be hanging out, partying, and just doing whatever we feel like. Another plus to sophomore year is that the girls from my hall are going to be in a room right across the hall from us. The girls, Kristin, Babs, Jill, Jenna, Kelly and Kristin's friend Margie, are all very cool people and I hav a feeling that we will all be just chilling in each other's rooms and doing whatever we feel like. Sophomore year is also going to be exciting because my friends from Hendrick Hall are going to be living in houses next year. Since I got put in a hall that has freshmen, sophomores, and even juniors, a bunch of them are getting houses. It's going to be awesome because we will all just go over to their houses when we want to hang out and even when we want to party. My RA is also getting a house next year, which will be cool because he's an awesome RA and it will be sick to go over to his house and chill.
Sick
It has been a few days since I have been sick and it sucks. I first got sick last Wednesday. Im pretty sure my roommate gave it to me because I took a sip of his drink and didn't realize that he was sick at the time. It sucked too because my cousin Zach and my best friend Justin from home, came out here. If they hadn't I might have stayed in for the weekend and just allowed myself to get better, but because I went out I feel like i made myself get more sick. Today, I missed all of my classes and slept on and off until about 4:30pm. I took some medicine that may have helped a little, but I think tomorrow I am going to wake up around 8:30am and go to the doctors. The symptoms I have are a runny/stuffy nose, a sore throat, congestion, and a bad cough. I have a feeling that it is most likely just a bad cold, but I want to get it fixed soon just to make sure that it doesn't turn into anything worse. I have friends who get sick and then just decide to wait it out and hope it gets better, but instead their cold ends up turning into strept or mono. I would rather not get either of those so I"m definitely going to the doctor's tomorrow.
May 2nd
So, in 17 days I am going to a show called pre-bamboozle. The show is going to be held in Poughkeepsie, New York. The bands that are going to be playing there are some of my favorite bands. These bands include Just Surrender w/ The Audition, Valencia, Mayday Parade, Faster Than Fashion, The Maine, Farewell, Hit The Lights, Four Year Strong, We The Kings, Every Avenue, Danger Radio, Automatic Loveletter, and A Rocket To The Moon. These bands probably mean nothing to alot of people, but to me they are some of the best bands out there. I am attending the show with my friends Kelly and Jill, and maybe a couple other people. We are leaving Cortland on Friday, most likely in the morning because it will take a few hours to get there. The doors for the show open at 4:30pm and then start shortly after. Since the show wont end until late in the evening, we plan on staying at Jill's house, which is only 5 minutes away from the building that the show is occurring. I would have to say that out of all the bands there are to see, the bands I want to see the most are Farewell, The Audition, We the Kings, and Mayday Parade. Every band in the show is very good, but those are the bands I am most excited to see. Although it's only 17 days away, I have a feeling its going to go by very slowly.
Summer
So summer is closing in and only a month away. I used to be so excited to get home and see all my friends and family, and I still am, but just not as excited as I first was. I realized that I am going to miss Cortland and my friends here alot. When I first came to Cortland it was the last place I wanted to be. I was so homesick and missed my family and friends so much. I felt alone here and felt like I would never make as close friends as the ones I have at home. As time went by though, I started to come to the conclusion that this was not true. Slowly, the people here that I used to consider strangers soon became some of my closest friends. I mean in some cases they seem even closer than my friends back home mainly because I live with them, eat with them, and do everything with them. I still am very excited however to go back and visit my friends and family for the three months of summer.

Good week
I can tell that this week is going to be a good one. The main reason is because my two friends who use to go to Cortland are now here for the week. Because of their grades, my friend Tony and my old roommate Ian got kicked out of school. It was upsetting because Ian, Tony, myself and my other good friend Kevin would do everything together. Ian and Tony first arrived here on Saturday at 930pm. It was amazing to see them again and it was such a good reunion. After they got here, instead of going out to the parties, we stayed and partied in the dorms and played some card games. I have a feeling that I wont be sleeping too much this week either because we will all be up just hanging out. They both are staying until sunday and then they will leave the bus station at around 1100am. Althoguh it is going to suck when they leave. it wont be too long before I see them because I plan on going down to Long Island for a week and staying with all of them.

Break
So break was a pretty good time. Although there were not a lot of people home for break, my three best friends Tyler, Zach and Justin were. They were home because they go to a community college right next to my town. My brother Tyler, My cousin Zach, and my friend Justin all go to a community college called Columbia Greene. It is about 15 minutes from my house. It was good to be home for the break. I pretty much just chilled with everyone that was home. We played soccer, worked out, played pool and ping pong, and just did whatever came to mind. It was good to go home and just relax for the ten days and not have to worry about any homework or tests. I also enjoyed sleeping late and not having to wake up to my alarm clock. I also made sure to see my family a lot. On Saturday night, the day before I went back to Cortland, my dad made corn beef and had my relatives over. It was good because I got to see my grandma, my aunt and uncle, my sister who lives in New Paltz, and my older brother and his fiance. Overall, break was fun and Ienjoyed relaxing with my friends and family.

human body: pushing the limits
So i watched this show yesterday at 9pm and 10 pm called The Human Body; Pushing the Limit. There were two episodes. The first one talked about the body and strength, and the second episode talked about the body and sight. The first episode was very interesting. It gave stories of how people obtained super human strength and were able to do amazing things. The first story dealt with a person who got caught in a tornado. While trying to hold his door closed, the man got carried away by the the tornado. They said that when the tornado hit, he was lifted and thrown a quarter of a mile from where his house was. When the tornado was finaly over, the man got up and walked away fine, with no broken bones. Scientists said that the man had to have hit the ground going 30 miles per hour. Now I don't know about you guys, but I think it's pretty amazing how the guy didn't get hurt at all. especially after being thrown that far and hitting the ground that hard. The second story taked about a hiker. While the man was climbing around a cliff, a slab of rock that he had grabbed onto broke off from the cliff and fell on him. Since the man was on a slope, when it fell on him, he started sliding down the cliff. With only one option left to survive, he lifted the rock off of him and through it to the ground with no time to spare. Now that's pretty impressive itself, but the rock that he lifted off of himself weighed 1200 pounds. Thats one and a half times the world record for benching. It's pretty insane that this man was able to do this, and he isn't a big guy, just a normal size hiker. Anyway, the scientists said that when he was falling, his only choices were to lift the rock off of him or slide off the cliff and die. He was ablt to life the rock off of him because all of his muscle fibers worked together at exactly the same time, creating a human who possessed super human strength for a brief moment.
The second episode talked about sight and how we can see and spot some of the most amazing things. The first story talked about a lifeguard who was able to spot one man who was out in the ocean drowning. They said how it's so crazy that a lifeguard can spot something like that, mainly because there are always people who look like they may be drowning or putting up signals for help, but actually aren't. A second story talked about a woman who was in a car accident at age 19 and ended becoming blind. Doctors performed this procedure where they stick these two little rods in the sides of her head and put little receptors into her brain. By slowing turning them on one at a time, the woman was able to start seeing again. She wasn't able to see much yet, only light and dark, but doctors said that as more receptors get turned on, she may be able to eventually see again completely. These stories I thought were all very interesting and if you want to watch them, turn to channel 49 on sundays at 9 and 10pm, or even 11 and 12pm and they will be on.

break
So im loving it here at cortland, but i mean i think once break comes along i'll be ready to go home for a little bit. It's tough because when you go home you get used to being back home and being with your friends and family, so it sucks having to adjust again once you get back here. Im not quite sure what ill be doing when i go home. Im definitely going to hang out with my friends as much as possible. It's tough though because one thing that sucks about spring break is that everyone has theirs at different times. I mean i must heard four different spring break dates from my friends. So because of that, I'll probably try to go and visit a couple of my friends that are still at college when im on my break. I also want to make sure i spend time with my family because i miss them and it's good to sit down and eat a nice dinner and just talk about whatever comes to mind. I was also thinking about trying to work over break because i could use the money, but i really don't want to waste my time working because we arent even home for very long. I have a feeling that even though spring break is only like a week and a half away, it's going to take forever to come because that's just how it works. But who knows, maybe it will fly by and break will be here. I wish i could go to like cancun or floridato experience the spring breaks you see on tv and in the movies. Im sure at some point when i have enough money i will be able to get a few of my friends and we will all go somewhere.

sibling weekend
Although I did not know that it was sibling weekend, i had my brother here anyway. He had told me earlier in the week that he was going to come here sometimes over the weekend. Anyway on friday night I went out to go party and when i came back i was hanging out and then i received a call. I looked to see who it was and it was my brother so i picked it up. I was talking to him for a little bit until he told me he had to go and he would call me back in a little bt. I decided just to go to my room and chill for a little bit until he called me back. As i was sitting in my chair in my room, the door opened and tyler was standing right there. I was pretty excited because i did not know he was coming then, especially since it was 2:30 in the morning. Anyway we hung out until like 5:00am and then went to sleep. In the morning we went to the Syracuse mall and then went out to party. The party was overall a good time and tyler said he had a really fun time. Although tyler is my younger sibling, he is only younger by six minutes. Yes, tyler is my twin. We are not identical though, so it is pretty easy to tell us apart. Being a twin is really cool. I mean your best friend is your family so how could it not be cool? Plus it's easy to hang out with him because we both love to do the same exact stuff. Although it may get annoying sometimes and we may get in fights, overall i feel bad for people who do not have a twin and will never get to experience having one.

weather
I dont know about anyone else, but I can't stand the weather sometimes. I mean I'm so glad that it snowed because this weekend I'm going to go snowboarding but I mean it's such a pain when you have to go to class. I mean you start off dry and warm in your dorm room and then once you walk outside to go to your class everything changes. Depending on the weather it's either freezing cold, raining, snowing, or all three. And by the time you get to your class your feet are soaking (well at least mine are). Having to sit in class with wet feet is not the most comfortable thing either. While you're sitting in class your feet slowly start to dry and by the time they finally do dry, class is over and you get to walk back into the large clumps of wet snow on the sidewalk. Plus, when you get back to your dorm room you're walking around in wet shoes and the whole floor gets wet. Not to mention you have to change your socks everytime you go in or outside. I think I could fix this problem by getting a pair of boots but I dont have a car so I'll have to wait until I go home for break. It's always tough to decide what kind of weather you really want. I mean I don't know if it's just me but when it's really hot I just want it to be cold and snowing and when it's really cold I just want it to be summer and warm again. I'm just glad that I live in a place where I get to experience the winter as well as the summer. I really don't have much else to say I'm kind of just trying to get enough words for this post but I think I have enough or I am Pretty close to it.

Closed lounge
So I went home for the weekend to visit my girlfriend up at Siena and also to see my family and when I came back I found out there would be a floor meeting. I was wondering what could have happened over the weekend that I missed while I was gone. So I go to the floor meeting at 8pm which is held in the lounge of the second floor of Hendrick. At the meeting, Mike, my RA, says that someone over the weekend had thrown shaving cream all over the stairs and that whoever it was should come clean about it. It was not just our floor tho who had this meeting, every floor had one and all of the RA's said the same thing to them. They said that if someone turned themselves in there would be no consequences, but because no one has and I doubt any one will, the RAs decided to lock up all of the lounges as well as not allow anyone to rent out any of the equipment to play ping pong, pool or fuseball. Now this is pretty annoying mainly because I wasn't even here for this mess and I come back and have to face the consequences of it. I'm also annoyed because the lounge is always a good place to hang out because it's easy to chill with all your friends from the hall and now that it's closed, we can't all hang out at once. The good news however is that I heard they can't keep the lounge closed for more than a week because it is against a law or something like that. Whatever it is I'm happy for that, but I'm pretty sure there is no law that they can't not let us use the equipment. This situation sucks but hopefully it will get resolved somehow.

Soccer
Soccer has been my favorite sport since I was old enough to be able to decide that it was my favorite sport. My mother told me that I started kicking around a soccer ball right after I learned to walk. When I was five years old I had a decision to make. I was palying both t-ball and soccer at the same time, but since they were at the same time I had to decide which one I would rather play. At first I wanted to play both but I knew I wouldn'd be able to so I made the decision to play soccer. I'm glad I made that decision and I definitely don't regret it. Ever since then I started playing summer soccer, which occurred from early July to mid August. I played just that until I got into 7th grade, where I was able to try out for the modified team for my school. I made it no problem and in 7th and 8th grade I played on that team as well as summer soccer. When I got into high school I played for the schools junior varsity team. I played that in 9th and 10th grade and in 10th grade I was captain for the team. It was pretty exciting and I felt pretty confident about leading the team. Also in 10th grade, I started playing travel soccer, which occurred during the spring. So now, I was playing travel soccer, summer soccer and soccer for my school. In 11th grade I moved up to playing varsity soccer. I also started an indoor soccer league at a place called Afrims. Now, I was playing soccer all year round. Unfortunately, in the summer before my senior year, an injury occurred while I was playing summer soccer. I had hurt my knee the day before my final summer soccer game, but I decided to play on it anyway. As I went to go shoot on the goal with my left foot, I kciked the ball and my knee exploded. Right away I knew my knee was messed up. The next day I went to the emergency room and the doctor told me that I shredded my medial meniscus and would need surgery right away. Rather than be scared of the surgery, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to play in my senior year of soccer. After the surgery was over I was told I would be on crutches for two months. Right there my heart dropped. Because I tried to force myself to play on a hurt knee, I ended up messing it up worse and ruining my chances for playing. It was also upsetting because my coach said he was going to name me captain. Now, a year and half later I still play soccer but it's hard to play here mainly because it takes up soo much of your time. I am playing in an intramural team in the Spring and I can't wait. I will also probably play club soccer next year for Cortland.

snowboarding season
So far, this snowboarding season has been quite terrible. I mean when we got our first big snowfall in November, I assumed that this winter would be the best one in awhile. I was wrong however. I mean even though we have gotten a good amount of snow, it never lasts long enough. For example, whenever we have a big snowfall, the next day it rains or it's 50 degrees outside. Some people might like this because they don't like the snow, but for us snowboarders who like to go to the mountain it sucks! Since I only live 20 minutes away from Windham Mountain, I usually go every weekend but since I have been at college I have only been able to go over winter break. It kind of sucks too because we had only one good snowfall while I was home and then it melted away.
I also tore some ligaments in my back over break from snowboarding. It was about 60 degrees outside one day and my friend asked me if I wanted to go riding. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to go because I was pretty tired, but I decided to go anyway. It was really nice riding in the warm weather, but there were a bunch of grass spots as well as slippery spots. We decided to go to the park because we heard there was a jump open. The jump looked kind of sketchy but we figured it couldnt be too bad. I went first and hit the jump fine, no problem. The jump was probably like 25 feet, so I figured even if I did fall it wouldn't hurt that much. Anyway, my friend hits the jump next and does fine also. After that we start to ride down this part of the mountain where it drops suddenly. I always do this no problem but as I was riding my board kicked out from underneath me and I fell onto my stomach and my legs went over my head. As this happened I felt something pop in my back and I suddently couldnt breathe. Instead of waiting for the saftey patrol to come I rode down the rest of the mountain and right into first aid. There, they strapped me down and took me to the ambulance. It kind of sucks too because when I think about it I wasn't even planning on going riding that day.

I Can't Stand Homework
Alright so is it just me or has anyone else had it with homework? I mean it has been a little over a week and I feel I have gotten enough homework for the semester. Is homework even really needed when you think about it?? I mean yea it's supposed to help us learn and retain stuff easier but what is the point if we can't concentrate in class the next day because we were up til 3 in the morning trying to finish it all? And does it really help us THAT much? I mean what if we tried to take a class that didn't give us any homework but that just taught us everything in class. I guess it would be too hard because the teacher wouldnt be able to teach us everything in time. But still, I mean some teachers think that we only have one class and it's theirs, so they give us hours of homework to do and by the time we feel we accomplished something, we have homework for 3 other classes. I dont know about anyone else but i dont think staying up til 3 and then waking up at 8 or 830 is very healthy. Maybe a little less homework from each class would do the job?

I have no idea what other people are writing about or if I am supposed to be writing about something with science fiction, so I guess I'll write about aliens. I always wondered if they actually do exist or not. I mean there have been a lot of sightings apparently and people have said that they have been abducted, but there is really no evidence to prove if what they saw or what they have claimed to have experienced is actually true. And what about Area 51? There have been rumors that Area 51 is the place where experiments are being conducted on extraterrestrials. Could our own government be hiding secrets from us? Or are we just allowing ourselves to falsely believe the idea of aliens existing? I really have no idea if there is or isn't any other lifeforms in space. I think that it is kind of ridiculous that there wouldn't be some other form of life in space, but do the lifeforms look like the aliens we see on t.v. and in movies? Maybe they are just little organic particles. Are there really other forms of life in space or are we just imagining there are?
